I had just gotten out of prison and was scared that I wasn’t seated in my recovery as I wanted to be. I was given a flyer with youpickrecovery.org on it. Interested I went to the website and filled out the strangest application ever. I mean where else can I say I have 28 years experience. Well now I have just passed my 2 year and thanks to the fulfillment of being a Volunteer my recovery is strong.

I graduated from the second every training NMSAS hosted. Tom McCale was our Coordinator. We had no idea if our training would take off. Wow it took off in time! Look at how far it’s gone! I’ve gained a lot of knowledge through NMSAS.
